If you watch the slow-mo at the end, you can see that he lets off the brake when the car is lined up favorably with the road surface. Maybe that’s what keeps him from smacking the wall. Looks like the top speed on that car is a mere 179 mph.
Be sure to turn up the volume and listen to the drive train and the gasping waste gate.

Yeah, that felt like some superb driving when I saw it, but I can no more intelligently comment on that than I could high energy physics.
